MINING.
WAIITI GRAND JUNCTION. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Loudon, May 10. At the meeting of the. Waihi Grand Junction Company, Mr. Uothwell presiding, justified the non-payment of a dividend. If nothing interrupted the working, probably an interim dividend of a shilling in November would be made, and a final distribution of a shilling later, but it was possible that the shortage of labor would prevent the minimum output of 350 tons which was necessary. Mr. Rothwell suggested that the Government of New Zealand should encourage the immigration of miners by assisted passages.
