A SAD FATALITY.

NEW PLYMOUTH MAN SHOT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Friday. About !) o'clock this morning, Reginald D. Coker, a clerk in the Bank of New South Wales, Lambton Quay, was handling a revolver on the bank premises, when it went oil', and the bullet entered his head. Death was instantaneous. Deceased was ii years of age and came to Wellington from New Plymouth. Mr. Rex. Coker. whoso death is announced above was an old New Plymouth boy, having been educated at the local High School, where he was an exceedingly popular scholar. He was also a good all-round athlete and captained the football team. After leaving school lie played for the Star Club. He joined the Hank of New South Wales here, and some two or three years ago, was transferred to the head office at Wellington.
