ANTARCTICA.
SCOTT'S EXPEDITION. THE SCIENTIFIC RESULTS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, May 15. Commander Evans has received several wireless messages from Dr. Mawson, via Australia, including one of condolence on the death of Mrs. Evans. The Antarctic Committee's operations are fettered through the non-arrival of large overseas contributions. It would be kindness to the beneficiaries to remit them promptly. Messrs. Griffiths, Thomas, Raymond, Priestly and Denhani will shortly commence preparing the geological results of Captain Scott's expedition. Tt is expected that these, with F. Wright, a Canadian scientist, will prepare a paper for the British Association next week. The Royal Geographical Society will entertain Captain Scott's officers and scientists at a great reception. A lecture will be given by Commander Evans at the Albert Hall.
