MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.
SOCIAL AND DEMOCRATIC FEDERATION. ; The Social and Democratic Federation has submitted the following questions to the respective candidates for the Mayoralty and for the Borough Council:— 1. Are you in favour of the system of rating on the unimproved value of land? 2. If elected, will you use your best endeavours to secure the adoption of by-laws (a) enforcing a speed limit on motor-cars amj motor-bicycles within the borough; (b) providing* for the examination and licensing of motor-car drivers? 3 Are you in favour of the Borough Council undertaking the whole of the >.ork in connection with the installation of sanitary and electrical requirements within the borough if requested by a ratepayer? 4 Are you in favour of establishing a free p'iblic dispensary for necessitous cases!
