SHIPPING MATTERS. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, April 24. Sir James Mills is a passenger by the Niagara. He received a cablegram from Mr. Borden, Premier of Canada, with congratulations on the arrival of the vessel. Sir James denied that ms visit had any specific reference to shipping matters. Regarding the New Zealand rumor of a probable increase in freightH, he merely remarked that imaginative people were sometimes given to misstatements.
