PARK SATURDAY.

COLLECTION'S OVER £lll

About forty ladies put in the whole of Saturday in a good cause collecting subscriptions towards the coat of the upkeep of our beautiful Park. They Worked systematically, culling at every house, every shop, and accosting everyone they met. The result of their efforts wasthe securing of over ill 11, with a few lists to come in yet. It was not as good as the year before, when the collections, realised £l7B, which, however, included two gifts of £25 and £lO respectively. Probably both donations will figain materialise this year. v lf so, the total shuld not be far short of last vear's.
