By Cable—Press Association—Copyright,

Received 21, 12.45 a.m. Sydney, April 20.

The idea of a great central desert was exploded. An attempt should be made to develop the country with white people agriculturally and pastorally. Judged by his own experience, he did not think that the climate would affect anybody's constitution much. The people of southern Europe would do well i,n the Territory.
