FITZROY CLUB,
t-he semi-final for the. championships, singles of the Fitzr-oy Club yesterday Rennell (2J); beat* Smith (17). The final was won by Renpell who beat Abbott by 21 to 15. Rennell thus wins the champion cup. In the semi-final for the handicap pairs, Cook and Smith (24) beat Bartlett aHd,Oxeriham, (22); The final lies between Callaglian and Jaclison, and Cook and Smith. > ' '
WEST ESTD CLUB.
Yesterday saw the final, for the West End Club's handicap pairs toumiment, a close contest resulting. J. 1). Sole played substitute for C. N. Johnson, who is awav. in Auckland, while in the other rink Restqtn took the place of McAllum, who was sLlso unable to be present. The.match fell to the lot of Lobb and Sole, who Jleat Reston and Seal by 24; points to 21. At the 21st head the score was' 21 all, and a decidihg head had to be played, On account of Johnson's unavoidable absence, the losing rink decided at the outset to forego their, handicap of two points.
