TARANAKI LAND BOARD.

MOXXLI.LY MEETING. Tlie Tarjln;iki Land Board met yesterday afternoon, the Comissioner of Crown Lauds (Mr. (!. H. Billiard) presiding. Messrs. Ileslqp, Hattenbury and Ryan were also .present. A. J., ami Mrs. B. M. Ivirkham applied to tr.i.isfer three leases comprising sections 7,1 H, 14, block IV., Oniona, to Messrs Eoonev, but it was alleged that the Kirkhamw .had .already exchanged this land for land at .Takapau, which they obtained .from Jessie Hills. —After hearing various parties, and going fully into tlie matter, tlie Board resolved to permit the transfer. .Application was made by D. A. Dickson, to .transfer sections'o, block IV., Mahoe, to J.. A.,and A. ,V. Moss.-The latter attended inul-said.they had sufficient capital to work on, and were quite satislied that they had experience and could make a success of it. The transfer was thei'efare approved. Messrs. Govett and < Quilliam inquired whether .the Board would pass a transfer of section 1, block IX.. Upper Waiter a from E. H. Slater to K. 11. Dave'ney if all tlie requirements of the law were ■stfietUy .complied -.\ftyh. The transfer involved the question of aggregation.— Mr. taWKett ;atfatonUeU with Mr. Daveney in support ;of the ease, an'd urged that it was not a case of aggregation. The Board, however, coiild not see its way to grant the transfer.

P. A. Kelly anil W. J. Shaw applied to transfer section Vblodk'XlV./Omona, to P. A. Kelly, f. Hill, 31. L., and M. B. Dive.—lt was resolved to consent to the transfer, excluding "Mrs. Dive as she was not landless.
