BIG MANbiON BURNED.

Tte suffragettes burned the house of Mr. A. P. Du Cros, at St. Leonards. It was an elaborately decorated house, one of the finest in St. Leonards. The furniture was recently removed, owing to the expiration of the tenancy. The suffragettes fired different rooms, and left pamphlets. While the firemen were extinguishing the (lames several explosions occurred. The damage is estimated at ,112,000.
The suffragettes cut the telephone and telegraph wires at Bath, near the railway tunnel.
OPEN-AIR MEETINGS PROHIBITED.
London, April 15
The Home Secretary has prohibited the Women's Political Union holding open-air meetings in the metropolitan area.

I Suffragettes covered Du Cros's window with thick paper, whereon they placed a layer of jam. Tney then broke the winO.om and unfastened the latch.
The suffragettes have made persistent attempts to burn St. .Luke's Church at Abercarn. The floor was saturated with paraffin and the roof damaged.
Letters in the Central Post Office and the pillar boxes at Sheffield were fired.
