A Reuter's message states that Martin's firm has failed. A petition in bankruptcy lias been entered in Tennessee.
A petition' has been filed to protect Mr. Martin's firm during his absence. The assets are stated to be 430,140 dollars, and the liabilities 403,163 dollars.
STILL ALIVE.
London, April 15,
Scotland Yard has received information that Martin is alive. He has been traced to a South London suburb.
