BETWEEN COMMONWEALTH AND DO.AUXIOX. P.y Gable—Press Association—Copyright. Melbourne, April 5. Messrs. Tudor and Fisher had a further conference on reciprocity. Both submitted a list of articles on which they desired preference. The lists were discussed, item by item, and the views of both sides noted for fiirt'iip' - reference to the respective Governments. Gtiod progress lias been made. It is now found impossible for Messrs. Tudor and Fisher to confer with Mr. Foster, the Canadian Minister, the latter having notified that he will be unable to reach Melbourne before thi end of the month, bv which time. M-. Fisher will have returned to New Zealand.
