NEW PLYMOUTH DEFEAT WEST END. New Plymouth and West End Howling Clubs met at the Fitooy green yesterday in the; play off to decide which should have the honor of representing North Taranaki in the banner play oil'. A close and interesting game saw New Plymouth win the banner rinks by 7 points, and the aggregate by 3 points. The issue was in doubt right up to the finish, when A. K. Smart, who was lying two, with his last shot converted this into five, and more than neutralised the four which Curtis scored over his brother in the last two heads.
