REFEREES, The following referees have been appointed for the matches this week:— THURSDAY. Seniors.—Tukapa v. Clifton, at Waitara, 3 p.m., G. Hopkins. First Juniors.—Tukapa v. Eltham, at Eltham, 3 p.m., F. Spurdle; Star v. Clifton, at New Plymouth, 3 p.m.. H. Petty; Stratford v. Inglewood, at Stratford, 3 p.m., J. Thomas. SATURDAY. Rovers v. Okato, at Okato, 3 p.m., J. Johnson; Star v. Fitzroy, at New I Plymouth, 3 p.m., 0. West.

TEAMS. The following will represent the Clifton Club to-day in the following matches:—Seniors v. Tukapa, at Waitara: Cain, Bernsten, De Blois, Hicks, Loveridge, Jones, McDavitt, Brown,, Tate, Goodwin, Fuller, Eggleston, Crowley, A. Lash and Kupe. First Juniors v. Star, at New Plymouth: Waka. Piuikhurat, W. Lash, Lawrence, Stoddart, Fitzsimmons, Parr, Spurdle, Limmer, Catchpole, Hopkinson, Matini, Bristoll, D. Cunningham, and M. Cunningham. Second Juniors v. Inglewood, at Waitara: Clare, Smaille, Tate, Cameron, Crow. Taylor, Fulton, Chapman, Jones, Wickham, King, Old, Manu, Kuru and Bun. The following will represent Tukapa Seniors against Clifton on Thursday at Waitara, the team leaving by the 12.45 train:—White, Whitaker, McGiven, Loveridge, Brown, Whitaker, Ward, Jull, i Harvey, Davidson, Steele, Blyde, Br&Ibant and Smith. The following will represent Okato in their match against Rovers, at Okato, on Saturday:—L. Carey, C. Eustace, J. O'Sullivan. Barney, Charlie, Drader, R. Andrews, Thompson, E. Andrews, Turner, Malone, Rua, H. Corbett, McKay, Leedom.

I ASSOCIATION. [ An Association football match will be played on the Tukapa ground on Saturday between teams representing the two newly-formed local teams, Swifts (Mangorei) and Albion (New Plymouth). This match will be the opening one of the Julian Cup competition in I North Taraanki.
