MAWSON'S EXPEDITION. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright •Sydney, April 22. Dr. Mawson's vessel, the Aurora, will sail early in May to make a six weeks' course in the sub-Antarctic, to carry out a series of soundings and dredgings in the unknown seas between Tasmania and Antarctica, and the study of the currents and the drifts of icebergs. Mr. Edgar Waite, curator of the Canterbury Museum, Christchurch, will accompany the expedition.
