All his clothing was torn oft" him except his boots. His arm was broken and his flesh badly torn about, and hurt in the body, it is' not known to what extent. His brother Leonard went to his rescue, and was also caught by the arm, which ' was badly broken in two places. Both were taken to She hospital in an ambulance.
