TABAHUA CLUB. Presentation of prizes won during the season by the lady members of the. Taralma Club took place at May & Arrowsmith's tearooms yesterday afternoon. The function was attended by about thirty members, and proved very enjoyable.

The presentations were made by the president (Mr. T. C. List) as follows: Stick with engraved silver shield and two silver buttons (points prize and button matches), .Mrs. C. M. Hill; stick and silver button (for winning foursome and button match), Miss Copestake; stick- (winning foursome), Miss A. Putt; silver button (winning button match), Miss Knott; silver button (winning button match), Miss Gilbert; volume Shakespeare (winner mixed foursome); Miss White; button (winning mixed! foursome), Mrs. T. C. List. The men's prizes were awarded ear-' lier in the season. Short speeches were made by the president and captain (Mr. G. Grey) bath referring to the success of the past season's play, the great help accorded by the lady members, and the bright prospects of the club.

Mention was made of the fact that several members had contributed towards the greens improvement work now in hand, and of the expectation that the greens would be in tip-top order for next season's play. The passing by acclamation of a hearty vote of thanks to the president and his wife for their services during the season concluded what proved to all a happy little function.
