Olson Bros., who are among the best known of Ayrshire breeders in Xew Zealand, suffered a serious loss on Sunday last, when their well-known pedigree cow "Princess May" died, at their estate "'Woodlands," from tutu poisoning. Princess May (imp.) of , Auchenbrain, by "Cock of the Walk of Doumjoan (1917 A.H.8.); dam Firs Queen of Auehenbrain (5583 Vol. 12., A.H.8.), was 22 years of age. The fact that at the time of her death she had a fine bull calf at foot spea/ks well for the fine constitution, stamina and fertility of the breed. Although Princess May herself was never shown extensively, her progeny have for some years past been among the most prominent prize-winners in the North Island show ring.
