.•NXJAMOXU CLUB. The first qualifying round of the championship was played on Saturday in fine weather, but there was a fairly strong westerly wind, which accounted for the scores being hardly up to the usual level. The final round will Ibe played next Saturday, and the eight best scores for the two Saturdays' play will qualify for the play-off. The winners will play-off on Saturday week. ■Next Saturday the qualifying round for the club championship will be played.
