MOCARTON TRAINING .NOTES. By Telegraph— Press Association. Christchurclh, Last Night. The course was holding at llicnirtoTi thia morning, but the overhead conditions were fine. Coroniform ran the last five of six furlongs in lmin 8 2-sscc, Bornny Glen taking lmin 19 2-ssec for the six. Bath went well. Martine ran six furlongs in lmin 21 l-ssec. Flitaway bea,t Somersault veirv easily over seven furlongs in lmfo 3oy.,gec. Negative beat Stepjneter by 8 lengths over six furlongs, run in lmin. 22 3-ssec. ' ??l' rllS groped a mile and a quarter solidly, taking 2min If,sec for the last nine furlongs. St. Aidan's time in a similar task was 2min 4y 2 Siec, the lattang impressive. Gold Thread «nd Cold Circle galloped six furlongs in lmin 22sec. Wirraf and Captain Jingle were schooled over the big fences, jumping well. Hoanga wai better than Le Beau in a s-print orer half a mile. The Rover fenced indifferently over five flights. Antarctic jumped' beautifully, going twice round over the big fences. D'Nil, Garazon, and Dorondo gave a very satisfactory display over the big fences, Yasmak. who started with them, coming to grief at the end of one round. D'Nil was the pace-maker, and though Corazon and Dorando tried to overhaul him, lie fenced faultlessly, and mn the first over the last fence. SCRATCHING 6. Christchurch, Last Night. Miss Explosion was scratched for all engagements at the Grand National meeting at 2.30 p.m. to-day. White Cockade was scratched for all engagements in the same meeting at 3.30 p.m.
