A dinner was held' at the Crystal Palace, Lord Desborough presiding, He presented the Lonsdale Cup to the Canadians, and the inter-Empire medals. He congratulated the overseas representatives on coming thousands of mileß to participate in the Empire teste, animated by the best feelings of sport. He announced, in connection with the Olympia Games of 1912 that arrangements were to be made for British, Australasian, Canadian and South African teami to train together in England and go to Stockholm together, if possible, as an Empire team. Mr. Combes, manager of the Australasian team, asked for reciprocity by Britain in sending a team to Australia.
