LINCOLN NEWS. (From Our Own Correspondent). The ladies of the district organised a service of song and coffee supper last Friday week in aid of the Sunday School funds, «nd they were amply rewarded for their trouble. The entertainment was much enjoyed by those present, ,and also proved a financial success. Last Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. Nisbet gave a party in the schoolroom in honor of their daughter Lora's twentyfirst birthday. Miss Nisbet was the recipient of a large number of presents and congratulations, proving the popularity of the young lady. Mr. C. ■Schwieters was M.C., and carried out Ws •duties in a very able manner. Excellent music was supplied bv Mrs. McNeill, Messrs. F. Julian and K. P. Lawson.

The new creamery is nearing completion, the contractors having made the best of the recent fine weather.
