Reuter announces that tlie cancelling of the Atlantic fleet's visit to Norway is not connected with the Moroccan situation. Consols have fallen to_ £77 16s 3d. German bonds and French rentes have also dropped. Consols touched 77% d. but closed at 7Sy 4 . There was excitement on the Stock Exchange owing to rumors that the Powers had arranged a conference on the Moroccan question in October, Germany withdrawing meanwhile. BRITISH GOVERNMENT'S DECISION. Considerable business has been done at Lloyds in war risks. GERMANY'S CLAIMS. Berlin, July 26. The Cologne Gazette declares that if France wants merely to act on the Algeciras agreement she can settle matters by withdrawing her troops, opening the doors wide to international trade, and giving guarantees that she does not regard Morocco as a French colony. Germany, after securing economic interests in the Sus districts, will then doubtless withdraw from Agadir. The Gazette continues: The burning poiafc is what compensation can Germany claim for France's increase of power in Morocco.
