Lancashire, playing against Derbyshire, scored 444 for seven wickets, J, T. Tyldesley 125, and W. Tyldealey 152. Middlesex, against Somerset, scored 501 for seven wickets, Tarrant 113, J. W. llearne 234 not out.
For Warwickshire against Northamptonshire Porster scored 98.
