HOME RULE ENVOYS
By Telegraph—Pres* Association. Wellington, Saturday. Messrs. Redmond and Donovan, the Irish envoys, arrived in Wellington this morning, and leave to-morrow for Taranaki. They will hold meetings at Manaia on Monday, and at Opiinake on Tuesday. The envoys have postponed their departure from New Zealand from July 1 to July 28, when they leave for Sydney en route to Queensland. Gisborne, Last Night. Mr. R. Hazel ton, M.P., one of the Irish envoys, arrived here on Saturday morning, and was aeeorded a civic reception, in the afternoon he was at home at the Gisborne Hotel, and received a large number of friends and symapthisers of the Home Rule movement. In the evening Mr. Hazelton addressed a large gathering, giving a stirring speech. Today there was an informal reception at the Mayor's residence, and the visitor sailed again for the south in the evening. Over £2OO has been collected in this district in aid of the funds of the movement. Mr. Hazelton paid a high tribute to the press of New Zealand for the generous support accorded to the delegates.
