In the second grade, Waimatc beat ITawera by 22 to nil; Normanby beat Kaponga by 8 to 6. In tlie third grade Waimate beat Hawera by 11 to nil. and Okaiawa beat Kaponga by 31 to 3. IX OTHER CENTRES. Old Boys, the last-mentioned team was four points to the bad until on the call of time, and then made a brilliant final effort, winning by 11 points to 10. Linwood led against Merivale with but a few minutes to go, when a potted goal gave Merivale a win by 10 points to 7. Sydenham beat Canterbury College by lfi points to 3. Christchtirch defeated Marist Old Boys by 18 points to nil.
