SCHOOL COMMITTEE'S FINANCE.

To the 'Editor. I Sir,—Ancnt deliberations at the last meeting of the Education Board: Why was it necessary to bring forward figures of the No. 2 account of the Central school funds in order to obtain what might be termed common justice ? I, as a parent, have no doubt contributed a small assistance to this No. 2 account, and I do not consider it right that the Board should attempt to put this forward as a stumbling block to the granting of an adequate capitation to carry on school work. I suggest that the Board should look closer home for weakness in ability to supply proper means to carry on the education system. See to it, ye school committees. —I am, etc., PARENT.
