There was added to reserve £50,000, to the premises account £20,000, and carried forward £15,725. SMALLPOX IN LONDON. Received 3, 10.20 p.m. London, March 3. Forty-six cases of smallpox are reported in London, and three deaths. Two cases have occurred at Whitechapel, and one each at Shorcditch and Paddington. THE POTATO BLIGHT. Received 4, 12.55 a.m. Sydney, March 3. Early crops of potatoes are practically free from Irkh blight, but a serious .outbreak in late crops is reported in various parts of the State.
