BIOGRAPH PICTURES. The pictures now being screened at the Theatre Royal are drawing good houses, testifying to the excellence of the entertainment; indeed, it is a moot point whether the present show has been surpassed. The best of the "star" pictures in the well-selected programme is entitled "That Chink of Golden Gulch." an A.B. romance, wherein the hero is the son of the Celestian land, who in a mining camp suffers the jibes nnd illtreatment of the rough sot of miners and cowboys. Exciting incidents in his life are depicted. Through his instrumentality a mail robber is captured, and the reward of 50M0 dollars he presents to a friendly cowboy who had previously done him a good turn, thus enabling him to marry the girl of his heart. "The Flower of the Ranch" is another stirring cowboy story, in which the boys serve out justice to the villain of the piece. The scenic* include "Subiaea" and "The Benedictine Monasteries," "Balearic Isle?," and 'Thiloe, the Dead City." The last named shows the city now partly submerged by the waters of the Nile. A picture conveying a realistic idea of a number of battleships in action is "Italian Naval Manoeuvres." The star dramas consist of "The District Attorney's Triumph" and "The Acrobat's Son." The comics consist of "Tweedleduni's First Bicycle,' "Resourceful Robert," " Koolshead, Footballer," and "Up-to-date Servants." The programme will be shown to-night for the last time, so that the opportunity should not be missed.
