Christchureh, Last Night The Methodist Conference to-day agreed to the recommendation of e> committee regarding alteration and division of circuits, regarding additional preachers, and regarding provision of preachers. A motion appreciative of the manner in which His Excellency the Governor conducted the citizenship meeting and of his references to the Methodist Church was agreed to unanimously. Th« congratulations of the conference were extended to Mr. Alfred Marshall on be* ing selected as the Rhodes scholar. J» the evening an ordination service waa held, at which the proai'ber was the Rev. C. H. Laws.
