CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE FEARED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Nelson, Last Night. The much wanted rain commenced to fall on Friday afternoon, and continued without intermission until this morning. It was accompanied yesterday afternoon and last night by the most severe gale, experienced for some years. About the town trees were uprooted and fences blown down.
