FIRES.
OUTBREAK AT PUKEKOHE. By Telegraph—Proas Association. ' Auckland, Wednesday. A Are at Pukckohe destroyed two large buildings, one owned by S. A. Whyte and • occupied by Vangioni, chemist, and the other owned by Samuel Vailc and Co. and occupied by Wright, their local agent. Vnngioni's stock was destroyed, but Wright's furniture and office fittings were saved. Both (buildings were insured, Vaile's in the Royal for £4OO, the loss being estimated at £2OO. Vangioni's loss is estimated at £3OO, and is covered by insurance in the Royal. STOREHOUSE DESTROYED. Masterton, Last Xight. A fire occurred at mid-day to-day at Lansdowne, near Masterton, a iarge storehouse, containing 3000 gallons of wine and a large number of implements and a large quantity of furniture, belonging to .Mr. 11. O. Williams, being destroyed. The damage amounts to close on £3OOO.
