ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
THROWN FROM A SULKY. By Telegraph,—Press AeeocJatioa. Greymouth, Friday. Thomas Bell, builder, was thrown from his sulky last night owing to his horse jibbing, and fell on his head. This 1 morning he is still unconscious. THE CLIFF ACCIDENT. Christchurch, Last; Night. Maitland Rawlins, the younger of the two boys who were admitted to the hospital yesterday, seriously injured as the result of a fall over a cliff, passed a fairly comfortable night, and was reported to be a little more conscious this morning than when he was admitted. The other boy, Charles Rawlins, is getting on very well.
A TRAMWAY COLLISION. Christchurch, Last Night. A head-on collision took place on the Burwood tram-line this afternoon between a steam locomotive and an electric car. The passengers on the latter car were severely shaken, and several found it necessary to come to town for medical aid.
A BODY FOUND. Wanganui, Last Night. The. body of the young man, Arthur Littlejohn, who was drowned in the river six miles above the town on Tuesday, was found by his brother to-day about a mile below the scene of the fatality. The body was held by the willow trees. The funeral takes place at Palmerston North.
