SUMMARY AND FORECAST, i ' Bf Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The following is the Rev. D. C. Baies' summary and forecast:—Boisterous southerly winds and rough seas have been reported between Castle Point and Kaikoura, with rain at times. Fair weather and moderate to strong southerly winds have prevailed generally, but north-easterly winds have increased southward of Banks Peninsula to-day. The barometer has been unsteady. Present indications are for moderate southerly winds in the far north, variable winds thence to New Plymouth and Castle Point, and moderate to strong northerly winds prevailing soon elsewhere. Fair weather is probable generally, but changeable in the far south, where a smart fall and rise in the barometer may be expected soon.
