AN ALLEGED CHEAT ARRESTED. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Sydney, October 29. Piggott has been disqualified for life. Received 30, 5.5 p.m. Sydney, October 30. Piggott has been arrested on a charge of false pretences in connection with his alleged score at 1000 yards, whereby he obtained £IOO from the National Rifle Association with intent to defraud. He was allowed bail in £IOO. Piggot is alleged to have put in a bogus score card, on whose figures he was adjudged a winner.
