RAIIOTU CO-OP. DAIRY CO. The annual meeting of suppliers of the '*ahotu factory takes place on Tuesday. The annual report is as follows:—"Trie irectors are pleased to advise a material ncrcase in the quantity of milk handled land cheese made. The output of cheese was shipped on consignment to Messrs W. and R. Davidson, Glasgow, and returns of shipments so far received show favorable prices realised, although the average market was considerably under that of last year, and the net, return con- ' sequentlv was over y>d per lb 'ess. During the year agitators have been installed | at the factory and have proved satisfactory, and a combined churn and butterworker has been procured and installed also. The purchase of these articles accounts for the increase in the value of the factory as shown in the. balancesheet. The balance to credit of profit and loss account on closing the books amounted to £229 9s 2d, and of this amount £220 18s has been written off the whole of the fixed assets of the company as depreciation at 5 per cent., and the balance £8 lis 2d carried forward. Anticipating a .higher range of prices tluin actually obtained, your directors paid out liberally at the commencement of the season, and consider the payment of 10.85 d per lb of butter-fat very satisfactory, having regard to prices realised. The retiring directors, Messrs N. King and A. F. Chapman, offer themselves for re-election."

T. L. JOLIj CO-OPERATIVE DAIRY COMPANY. The annual meeting of the T. L. Joll Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., was held on Wednesday. The annual report, after congratulating shareholders on the result of the past season's operations, stated: "After writing off the sum of £ 1439 8s 9d' for all-round depreciation, there remains a credit balance of £7901 14s to be dealt with; your directors recommend that a dividend l at the rate of 0 per cent, per annum (absorbing £207 13s) be paid to shareholders on all paid-up capital, and that «, further payment of 1.025(1 per lb be paid for butter-fat supplied throughout the year, absorbing the sum of £7017 4s 9d, leaving a balance of £7O 17s to be carried forward' to the credit of next year's account. This will give an equivalent, exclusive of interest, of 11.G2d per lb on .all butter-fat supplied throughout tihe year."

The Otaki Dairy Company is guaranteeing Is per lib for Ibutter-fat from Ist September to the end of April for milk for Wellington's supply.
