OPERATIONS AT THE BORES. No. 2 fonro was capped down yesterday morninc. Oil flowed at intervals. At No. 3, where drilling is being continued. drilling operations are proceeding, oil flowing occasionally. At No, 1 the men are engaged drawing the casing so as to enable repairs to be effected. About 1500 ft has now been removed. This bore, too, flows periodically, and there is always a large quantity of oil. It has been definitely decided to forward an exhibit to the* Palmerston winter show as well as that to be held at Hawera. The necessary apace lias been reserved.
