THE BOY SCOUTS
WANGANUI RESOLUTIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, Last Night. At a meeting of the local executors of the Boy Scouts, Wanganui, to-night, it was decided to approve of a circuI lar issued from the North Island neadI quarters to enable the junior cadet department to avail itself of the training given ,by the Dominion Boy Scout organisation, except in regard to the age fixed, viz., 10 to 16. It was decided to write to the authorities at headquarters in the matter of recognition of service for scoutmasters for military long service medals, and acting lieutenants, commissions of appointment, and to further no'int out that unless the halfservice of hoy scouts between the ages of 14 and 18 for senior cadet service is' recognised, and tne maximum age ofj scouts raised from 16 to 18 vears, a serious set-back will be given the Boy! Scout organisation throughout the Do-1 minion.
