The Rarawa arrived from Onehunga yesterday morning with 75 tons of cargo, including 17 tons of cement, 6 tons of flour, 6 tons: of sugar, and 280 cases of fruit. THE REGULUS. f The Regulus (Westport Coal Co.'s collier) arrived from Westport on Tuesday night with 480 tons of coal. She dischargedl her cargo yesterday and left afterwards on her return to Westport. THE RIMU. The Rimu called here yesterday from Onehunga and'-Kawbia en route to Opunake and Wanganui. After landing a. passenger she proceeded down the coast. CORINNA DELAYED.
The Corinna; which was due to arrive here to-morrow, has been detained in the South and' will not be able to reach New Plymouth till Saturday. . A ROUGH VOYAGE. The steamer Drayton Grange, which arrived at Auckland on Monday from Liverpool, via Sydney and Newcastle, met with- very rough weather on the voyage between 'Newcastle and Auckland. On Friday the wind blew from the north-east with hurricane force, accompanied by tremendous seas, which completely flooded the steamer's deck. Two able seamen, who were engaged in Ja&hing down some ventilators, were struck by an exceptionally big sea, and washed about 40ft along the fore deck of the ship, against the bulkhead of the saloon. Both men were injured, one sustaining bruises and internal injuries. The same sea y stove in a lifeboat and ■washed four lifebuoys overboard, besides partly flooding the third-class passengers' accommodation. THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond left Nelson at 6 p.m. last night for New Plymouth. .She should arrive here about 11 o'clock this morning! Her cargo amounts to 206 tons. OVERSEAS VESSELS. FOR NEW PLYMOUTH. Viganella, left Liverpool March 12, due about end of June. Paritutu (dredge) sailed from Clyde on March 24.
