ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
A DISTRESSING FATALITY. k : L'y Telegraph.— Fiem Association. Dunedin, Last Night. A distressing accident, which ended fatally, occurred in Athol Place Wat evening. Hazel E. Harrison, aged eight years, was playing with a number ef other children, and was running after a little girl when she ran into a lamppost. She dropped to the ground, and was carried home. She commenced to vomit, and l>r Butement found sue'tow suffering from concussion of the brain. She gradually sank, and died shortly; before 7 o'clock this morning. SUPPOSED DROWNING ACCIDENT. Wellington, Last Night. ' This morning a complete set of men's clothes was' found on the beach at Happy Valley, four miles from the city, giving the appearance that someone had gone into the sea to bathe and lost his life. Among the documents found in the leather bag lying near were papers relating to the Shearers' Union, and bearing the name "P. F. D'Arcey." Tha police searched this afternoon, but found no traces of the body. > AN OLD MAN DROUVNED, Reef ton. March 16. An old lrin mimed John Asnvns, a! pensioner,, has been drowned at Antonio's Flat. ,
