ELTHAM COMPANY. | Following i»' the annual report of the Eltliam Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., to be presented to the seventeenth annual meeting of shareholders at El- i tham next Saturday;—" During the year '.vc received 41.020,{')871b of milk producing 1,500,190.411b of butter-fat, and 1,7015,8351b, o r 788 tons 15c\vt lqr 71b, of butter. Tlie increase in the output of butter over the previous year was 77 tons 2qr. The average test was $.74 per cent., and 22.0!Hb of milk made one. round of butter. The overrun of the butter over the test was per cent. The total cost of manufacture, including charges f.o.b. ocean steamer, but not including depreciation, was £lO fis' Oil per ton, or l.lOd per lb. The average price paid to suppliers for butter-fat «as 11.2:! d per pound, and the balance in hand on realisation will make a further payment possible of o.3fid prr pound. The total payment therefore for nutter-fat for the season will be ll.oOil per pound. You will be asked to elect four directors in place of Messrs. Corbett, Cleaver, and Murray (who retire br rotation, but who are eligible for reelection) and the late Mr. John Carter. Vou will be asked to appoint an auditor. Mr. W. .T.
