PARTICULARS OF LAST YEAR'S BILL.

Canon Boyce's annual review states that the drink traffic bill for New South Wales for 14)07, totalled £5,200,744, equal to £3 0s lid per head of the population. The increase was £552,008, or 5s Od per head on the previous year. He attributed the increase to prosperous times. The convictions for Sunday drunkenness were 781, compared with 2318 for the year before the Local Option Bill became operative. iThc convictions for sly-grog, Sunday, and after-hours selling have all decreased.
