THE EASTERN NATIONS.

"ASIA TOR THE ASIATICS." A JOURNALIST'S PREDICTIONS. Brisbane, August 25. Dr. Denekamp, who has represented the Dutch Associated Press in the Eajt for five years, has arrived here on a visit. From his observations he is convinced that within tho next '4a\ years the cry "Asia for tho Asiatics" will be raisnU, and the Japanese and Chinese armies and ileets will be fused into one. He thinks the Japanese will continue Hheir proscnt alliance, with England only so long as China is weaK. Once China becomes strong, England will be dropped, and, so far as Asia is concerned, European nations will take a back seat.
