WAREA. (from Our Own Correspondents). The final competition for Mr. W. 15. Smith's silver shield trophy was fired for on Saturday in fine weather. Ther° was a fair attendance, besides those who were firing for the trophy.. Mr. W. H. Julian was the winner, with 145 points. The following are the results of the match:-' 500 600 Tl. W. IT. I', Robinson . .. 45 22 07 The farewell social tendered to Mr. and Mrs. Clemance and family on Tuesday night was largely attended, the sdhuolroom being packed, and a lot had perforce to stand. The Rev. Worboys, who was chairman, conducted cveything in a satisfactory manner. The social w is opend with «i hymn, and then followed a prayer by the Rev. Worboys.
