SUPREME COURT.
Per Press Association. Pahncrston N., Lust Night. At the Supreine Court yesterday. Mr. Justice Cooper gave judgment in the ease of Henry James Argyle and another v. Nathaniel Malcoln. The ease was one in which the plaintiff claimed .1400 damages for alleged breach of a deed of apprenticeship by wrongful dismissal and failure to instruct. The defence was that tlie apprentice was subject to epileptic fits, and was therefore unlit to learn the trade. Judgment was given for tiie defendant without costs. Annie Gore applied for a dissolution of her marriage with John Gore on the ground of adultery. A decree nisi was granted, to lie made absolute at the expiration of six months. Wellington, Saturday. Mr. Justice Chapman to-day sentenced Ronald Grant Gilbert, alias George . Moore, to six months' imprisonment hard labor for theft, A Maori youth was ordered to come up for sen-i tence when called upon on a similar charge.
