At the inquest on the body of Janiea flrady, who died 011 Friday as the result of injuries sustained by a railway accident on Wednesday week, the medi- , cal evidence showed that deceased sua- ) tawed a lacerated sealp wound on tlin ( back of the head, and an extensive frac- , ture, part of the skull being broken off, and the brain tissue pulped. The jury , returned a verdict that death was caus- , ed by deceased having been accidentally struck by a railway train in motion. At the inquest on tho body of Mra. Hubbard, aged 57, who was found on .Tomahawk beach, the jury were of opinion that there were no suicidal sfignjsj and that deceased must liavo been walking round tho cliff, and taking a lit, fell into the water. They returned a verdict that deceased was found drowned, but there was not sufficient evidence to show how she got into the water. De'cteased's husband said she was an inmate of a mental hosipital twelve months ago, but since her discharge had shown no signs of suicidal tendency.
