PRESBYTERIAN GENERAL ASSEMBLY.

Per Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Presbyterian General Assembly resumed its sittings to-day. A fraternal letter was read from Bishop Wallis, of Wellington. A report was submitted on the state of religion, and giving answers to questions submitted by the committee to ministers. The sessions report on the sustenation fund showed that the dividend for the year ended 30th September' was £lO3 13s 2d. The Theological Committee's report -stated that twenty-five students had attended during the session. The receipts exceeded the expenditure by £54 os.
