[Frank Veltheim was arrested some time ago on a charge of levying blackmail on one .lolly Joel at Paris. VeltI lieim claims to have some knowledge of a plot against the late President Krager's life, organised by the late Barney Barnato in the Transvaal.
Arnvd with this alleged knowledge, he tried to extort money from one of the -loel family, a relative of Barnato, in Johannesburg, and. being unsuccessful, -hot him. TTe is now alleged to hav» been trying a similar -eheme of extortion on another of file Joel family.
