Shortly :if ter the New Year, the company wil start operations in the Cha'inpior mine, from which have been taker some of the richest known deposits ol dive copper, samples of which arc ex li-.bit.nl at the Nelson court of th( International Exhibition. Seventy live men will be at work during January. it is the intention of the company to immediately ship five hundred tons of ore to the English and Australian Copper Smelting Company al Will-Utah, New South Wales.
