Messrs Alien and Alien and Ilmnsley, solicitors, on behalf of Taylor, replied that there was no power to prevent his departure, and indicated tliat if any breach of agreement oc curred, it was on the part of the Government. 0

Taylor left by the Maheno without any interference on the part of the authorities.
